Cette carte est le fruit d'une organisation fédérée par Uéli (FS Neroform 100). J'espère n'oublier personne en citant : pti gaulois PK, G1vaguealame, acytoo, BlueApple 29-SPB, CUBATRINIDAD ACE, tours_ist. Je tiens à leur exprimer ma sincère gratitude. Il a fallu que je filtre un peu les extractions car il était important que la carte ne soit pas trop lourde à charger.
Le fichier à télécharger s'appelle Clipper_2012_9.zip. Le nom du répertoire est Clipper_2012_9 (sans espaces). Ce répertoire est automatiquement créé si vous téléchargez le fichier dans le répertoire principal d'installation de VRTool et utilisez l'option de décompression "extraire ici" que vous obtenez par un clic droit sur le fichier. Vous trouverez la procédure complète d'installation, décrite dans la section 8.2 du guide ou dans les articles précédents.
Il y a deux bouées à valider. Il faut passer au sud de ces deux bouées.
1) 42°N, 168°E à laisser à bâbord.
2) 42°N, 158°W à laisser à bâbord..
Il est possible de prendre toute route imaginable pour relier Qingdao à San Francisco, à condition que ces deux bouées soient validées. Deux routes sont représentées sur la carte pour atteindre la 1ère bouée :
1) La route Nord Japon - Bouée 1 fait 2360,5 NM
2) La route Sud-Japon - Bouée 1 fait 2507,3 NM
Ces deux routes sont complétées par une route commune de la bouée 1 à l'arrivée à San Francisco, qui fait 3156, 9 NM.
Remarque : une fois la première partie de la course effectuée, vous pouvez éditer le fichier NAV et supprimer le chargement des côtes détaillées (sud corée.cht, sud japon.cht, ouest et nord japon.cht). Cela améliorera significativement le temps de chargement de la carte.

There are two buoy, which should be passed on their south.
1) 42°N, 168°E to be left on port.
2) 42°N, 158°W to be left on port.
You can follow any route from Qindao to San Francisco, assuming that you have validated the two buoys. There are two routes that are present on the map to reach the 1st buoy:
1) The route Nord Japon - Bouée 1 measures 2360,5 NM
2) The route Sud-Japon - Bouée 1 measures 2507,3 NM
They are completed by a common route from buoy 1 to San Francisco, which distance is 3156.9 NM.
Note : in the second part of the regatta, you can edit the NAV file and remove the detail of the coasts that have become useless (sud corée.cht, sud japon.cht, ouest et nord japon.cht). This will significantly speed up the map loading.

La position de la bouée sur l'île de Lavan est approximative. Cependant il est confirmé qu'il faut passer cette île dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre en la laissant à tribord, soit une route ouest-est au nord de l'île.

Carte pour l'East Coast Ocean Race
ATTENTION : LES POLAIRES CONTENUES DANS LE PRÉCÉDENT KIT (antérieur au 17/01/2012 21:00) N’ÉTAIENT PAS CORRECTES. Il vous faut recharger le kit ou télécharger les polaires depuis le site de Rico.
J'ai préparé la carte pour cette régate.Le nom du répertoire à créer sous VRTool est January2012. Vous pouvez télécharger le kit january2012.zip et l'installer (l'installation est expliquée dans les articles précédents).
N'ayant pas eu beaucoup de temps, seule la côte sud de la Floride et la côte est de Terre-Neuve sont détaillées. Il est possible que vous soyez obligé de recharger les polaires qui sont fournies avec ce kit car j'ai eu une fois ou deux des soucis d'enregistrement : onglet vent / base de polaires / polaires simples -> sélectionner le fichier januaryrace_std-full.csv ou januaryrace_pro-full.csv et validez en cliquant sur charger.
Un discret ami m'a passé un petit utilitaire qui m'a permis de compiler les cartes de Ricoo en un seul fichier. Qu'il en soit ici remercié ... et qu'il continue de rêver :-))
WARNING: THE POLARS INCLUDED IN THE PRECEDENT KIT (earlier than 17/01/2012 21:00) WERE NOT ACCURATE. You must download it again or download the polars from Ricoo's site.
I have prepared the map for this regatta. The folder to create is called January2012. You can download the kit january2012.zip and install it (the installation is detailed in previous messages ...). I might be possible that you need to reload the polars, as I experienced once or twice troubles : tab winds / polars database / simple polars -> select the file januaryrace_std-full.csv ou januaryrace_pro-full.csv and click on load to validate.
A shy friend gave a small tool that allows compiling the Ricoo's maps in a single file. I'm very grateful for that and I thank him. May he continues dreaming ... :-))

Les premiers retours que j'ai sur Firefox 9.0 montrent qu'une fois de plus la compatibilité du cache est remise en cause. Ce qui veut dire que si vous passez à cette version, vous ne pourrez plus récupérer automatiquement vos positions dans VRTool (même en utilisant HTTPFox). Je vais essayer de suivre les solutions qui pourraient se dessiner et ne manquerai pas de vous en faire part ici. Le seul problème est que je suis actuellement débordé et ne sais pas quand je pourrai m'occuper de cette question. Donc, il est urgent d'attendre !

This means that if you upgrade to this version, you will no longer be able to automatically import your positions into VRTool (even if HTTPFox is installed). I'll try to follow up with this issue and will communicate any possible workaround. However, I'm actually very busy and have no idea when I can allocate time. It is therefore urgent ... to wait !
